Background
Inspired after reading To Kill a Mockingbird in junior high, Lincoln sought to be an attorney who was level-headed, compassionate and could be trusted to care for the legal needs of those in his community.
Work
Beginning his law career in 1995, Lincoln practiced in the Winslow and Poulsbo offices of Sherrard & McGonagle, developing a diverse civil practice, and arbitrating and trying cases in Kitsap, King, Pierce and Jefferson Counties. He made partner at fka Sherrard, McGonagle, Bohannon and Miller before departing in 2007 to start a solo practice in Poulsbo, focusing primarily on estate planning and probate/trust administration, real estate and business planning. In 2019, the office moved to Lynwood Center in Bainbridge Island where Lincoln practices today.
Personal
Married to his high school sweetheart in 1996 on South Beach (with Mt. Rainier in full view), Lincoln and his wife, Nicki, are parents to two wonderful, intelligent and beautiful daughters, both of whom are attending college and performing better than their parents ever did! Not fully empty nesters, the Millers share their home with Rosie, an Icelandic sheepdog, who occasionally frequents the office.
Education
Lincoln is a graduate of the University of Missouri, obtaining a B.S. in Business Administration (with an emphasis in Finance) in 1992, followed by his J.D. in 1995.
Activities
A reformed runner, Lincoln now eases onto a spin bike for cardio workouts, but occasionally still gets out for a basketball run at open gyms and hits the links on vacations.
